BAKERY E BISTROT
Cantun bakery & bistrot was born as a contemporary Milanese "corner" that opens onto via Polibio, piazza Ambrosoli and via Salutati. Opened in September 2017, it was born from the passion of Filippo, Claudio and Fulvio who, starting from a simple tobacconist bar, created a new meeting space for neighborhood life with a modern and bright location with an outdoor space on Piazza Ambrosoli.
In January 2020, Cantun conquers a new corner of Milan with a Bakery & Bistrot that overlooks Pizza Sei Febbraio and Via Boezio, in the heart of CityLife, one of the most modern and dynamic neighborhoods in the city.
In January 2024, Cantun opens the doors of its third bistro n the heart of the innovative Porta Nuova district.
Overlooking Piazza San Gioachino and Viale della Liberazione, the new location reflects the same modern and refined design that distinguishes all the sales points, offering a warm, bright and welcoming atmosphere that invites you to stop. This opening marks an important milestone in the growth path of Cantun, which continues to evolve and perfect itself, remaining faithful to its essence: it embraces innovation, without ever losing sight of the values that make it a point of reference for those seeking quality and conviviality.
In December 2024, Cantun inaugurates its fourth store.
Located in via Melchiorre Gioia 45, this new venue introduces great news for the Cantun family: The first Cantun store with a concept dedicated to evening dining as the main focus. During the day, the restaurant welcomes the neighborhood with the usual warm and familiar atmosphere, accompanying customers from breakfast to aperitif. In the evening, however, the bistro transforms into an intimate restaurant where refined design and an enveloping environment offer the ideal setting for relaxing and convivial dinners.

BREAKFAST
Our laboratory produces goodies for colazionebreakfast: French-style sourdough croissants (with bourbon vanilla cream, with 160% apricot or red fruit jam, with caffaril chocolate, wholemeal with organic honey, vegan), single-portion and sliced desserts , dry biscuits, from classic coffee shop products that can be consumed at the counter accompanied or comfortably seated at the table.
LUNCH
Equipped with a laboratory communicating with the kitchen, Italian and international classics are offered for lunch: vengono proposti i classici italiani e internazionaliclub sandwiches, burgers and sandwiches, salads and platters, naturally accompanied with mayonnaise, sauces of your choice, hot croutons and hot Roman focaccia: all handmade, with simple, homemade ingredients. But if you want to enjoy a more substantial lunch, there is the “cucina espressa del mesdì”two first courses, two second courses with side dishes for the "little, good and always different" series. Fresh raw materials processed directly in our kitchen, seasonal ingredients and an eye on home cooking: porcini and luganega risotto, fresh egg pasta orecchiette with meatball ragout, stewed baby octopus with polenta, grilled marinated chop with rustic potatoes oven, are just some of Cantun's offerings.

In the evening from 6pm, to wash away the heaviness of a day in perfect Milanese style, old-fashioned cocktails and craft beers await you to accompany our Scrocchiarella.
THE BAKERY
From the laboratory comes the scent of bread, baked daily and cooked directly on stone.. Different types are produced on specific days of the week: from the classics present every day to the special ones made with Venere rice or rye flour, without added yeast and multigrain. Focaccias, pizzas, pretzels, small Hungarians and sweet tarts are also prepared with stone-ground flour from the Mantua countryside..
